You Have 28 Days
Every other Tuesday or Friday a new map will drop to coincide with a new video. At that point, a countdown begins. You’ll have 28 days to buy that map. After 28 days, that’s it! The map is done and retired.
WHY?
Geography and maps are temporal. As soon as you make it, it’s already out of date. And so each map made here is supposed to reflect the temporal nature of cartography. It’s a map of a place made during a specific time. When that time runs out… the map is gone! Except for those who purchased one.
HOW MUCH?
Every map is always $29.99 (or your country’s equivalent). No more. No Less. Shipping is extra and depends on where you live.
HOW BIG?
Every map is always 10 inches by 10 inches (25cm by 25cm). No bigger. No smaller.
THE LATEST MAPS
Hurry! They won't last long!
The Flow of the Chesapeake Bay
The Chesapeake Bay is one of the most intricate bodies of water in the US. It swerves and curves in so many different ways that, if you stretch its coastline out in one straight line, it'll measure a greater distance than the entire west coast. To celebrate it, I've designed a beautiful flow map showing how the water moves and eventually flows out to the Atlantic Ocean.
Available only until June 4th.
The Continental Shelf of Tasmania
Tasmania is Australia's incredible island state. But did you know that it's actually connected to the mainland by a relatively shallow continental shelf? In fact, thousands of years ago humans walked right to it! For this reason, I wanted to create a map that highlighted the continental shelf and topography of Tassie.
Available only until May 28th!
What is this?
Maps By Geoff is owned by Geoff Gibson, the creator behind the Geography By Geoff YouTube channel.
The goal is to deliver high quality, limited edition maps of the places that are featured on the channel. In this way, the people who really resonate with a video or place can take a unique piece of it with them.
All maps are available for a maximum of 28 days, or 100 copies. When either is reached, the map is retired.
In very rare cases, former maps may be revived.
All maps are designed by Geoff.
